  • Dortmund: "Energieeffiziente Stadt – Innovation City Gelsenkirchen”. Fachlicher Nachwuchs Entwirft Zukunft. Im Auftrag des BBSR Bonn und des BMVBS Berlin. This Summer Academy is an integral part of the Nationale Stadtentwicklung /National City Development Programme by the federal ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development. The management of the continuing Summer Academy is passed among the participating universities every year. The Department of Urban Design at the Faculty of  Spatial Planning, TU Dortmund is the lead partner of the implementation in 2011.
  • Athen, Griechenland: “Building an urban oasis – A.Tritsis Environmental Park in Athens” (co-organisation). Sommerschule in Zusammenarbeit mit der Architektenkammer Athen zur Revitalisierung innerstädtischer Grünflächen
